The NCSC Secure by Design approach, developed by the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), aims to enhance cybersecurity and ultimately, consumer trust, by embedding security into the design and development stages of software, systems, and services from the outset and throughout their lifecycle.

Consumer faith in organisational governance, risk management, cybersecurity, data protection, privacy, and responsible use of new technologies, is of paramount importance if businesses are to unlock their vast potential for future success.

Well publicised incidents, increasing legal and regulatory requirements and technological advances continue to result in a shift in how consumers view, interact with and ultimately make subsequent interaction and buying decisions.
